Welcome to our squadron site for the Harrogate Air Training Corps - the Air Cadets. It is designed for you to find out more about our activities, provide active cadets access to current and future information and includes a link for parents and the general public to see how this national voluntary organisation is involved in our community. To be a cadet you must be thirteen!
The ATC, though supported by the Royal Air Force, is financed by the cadets' parents in the form of subscriptions. All activities and equipment are paid for by the squadron with support form the parents' management committee. Flying, Gliding and visits to RAF stations are paid from the public purse.
Should you be interested in aviation or the RAF, wish to sponsor the squadron or volunteer your free time to help train cadets, then contact myself here at Strawberry Dale. No 58 (Harrogate) Squadron ATC has been developing young cadets since 1938.
